Thats up top by the nose bleeds (keep in mind thats still good seats in there) should be no obstruction whatsoever. Only thing I wouldn't like is they are in the end corner, which makes viewing the other end a bit "obstructed" imo, but just because its so far away. As far as physical obstructions you will have no problem that I can forsee, one of the better arenas as far as poles, handrails etc blocking vision.

here's a link to the Joe's seating chart so you can see

The obstructed viewing part happens in the four different corners... Rows 24 - 26 flatten out up there in they little cubby whole. The distance from the ice is fine, but the viewing a horrific. You practically have to stand the entire game to see any of the action from back there. Your best bet is to call ticketmaster and ask for ROW 26 so that no one is behind you and you can sit on the back of your seats. If you are in row 25 and someone is behind you, good luck seeing the game. Up there you are praying that nobody in the front rows stands up... or you are doomed.

I was in a cubby this year. BRUTAL. Fortunately, I was in the very last row so I could stand (the last row in 213B is 27, according to my ticket). But the thing is, if you stood up all the way (I'm 6'0") the top of the cubby roof blocked the other end of the ice. So I had to do this kind of half stand-half squat thing and lean against the back wall.

If there's no cubby in 213A, you're in pretty good shape, 25's the last row except where there are cubbies. Sightlines should be fine, and you can stand (fully) if they aren't. But I have a feeling there is one, in which case you may be in trouble. If it weren't for my ability to stand-squat, I wouldn't have been able to see a thing.

You'd know better than me, sounds like you've been down that road. I always get something on the sides so I've never sat in the corners, I don't see what would be in the way, but obviously you have a little more experience with that than me.

But hey, from the last few playoffs games I've been at this year, you could just move your entire party down and fill in the empty seats in a lower row. Heck you could probably find seats in the lower bowl if you wanted! UInfortunate but true.

Ah, yeah... my rows were off by one... 25 -27. whoops ;)

So if the OP has or can get row 25 (the very first row in the flattened out section... then they should be all set. The only other thing that would obsrtuct the viewing at that point is the darn digital screen above you (where they show the digital hands clapping, the wings logo turning into the opponents and then various other events happening at the Joe.

They are bad seats... but spending over $100 for them... after doing that several times in my High School and college days... never again up there... Row 23 is my limit.... especially if it is the same darn price.

Next season after the Joe empties out I will try to sneak up there and take some pictures of the seats from there... you know actually sitting in the seats and looking out... however, the camera does add some distortion... but it will give some idea. I might even start an album in photobucket or webshots with all the various seats I have sat in and the view...

To the best of my reccollection... you are right, I think only the B's have the cubbies. So A and C wouldn't be that bad.

Sitting on the back of your seats is your best bet in the last rows. I've done it a few times. It's not totally horriffic like everyone says. Hey at least you're in the Joe at a game. I've never had the displeasure of the second-to-last row though so maybe those are bad. There's really not a truly bad seat in the house IMO. Tiger Stadium on the other hand...
