the number is:

xxx-xxx-xxxx

Call and tell him/his office your opinion about the hit in Holmstrom.

You shouldn't post this on here, the last thing we need is a bunch of people that call him up and say "huh, huh, U oughts ta sus-pen-d Puck Fronger for a hundred years! huh, huh, huh!" thats not what we need, they usually make these things so people who REALLY want them can find them.

I can't imagine that the number appearing in a Freep blog is going to help matters. By the same token, since it is already out there and the poster linked to the blog with the number, I can't see how posting it here is going to make matters any worse. JMHO

That is some funny s***. The great Jacque out in Minnesota went to the papers to beg the fans to urge the refs to call penalties on the Ducks and Detroit posts the commissioners office phone number to beg for suspensions. LOL. Classic. I bet he'll love all those phone calls.

"Yes, um sir, we know you cant do your job and need peer pressure to get a spine, can I waste more of your time with my call?" Lovely.

Heh... This is pointless.

They're not going to make these types of decisions based on getting a bunch of phone calls from fans of the subject's opposing team. It's one thing to call league offices to voice your opinion on TV deals, scheduling, rule changes, etc., but this is just ridiculous.

thanks for telling me what I should not post...next time I will run it by you before I consider posting anything...oh s***..wa..wa..wait I just did it again...piss on you.

And to you others who think it is a waste of time...dont bother doing it DUH! But, I bet you would be surprised at how responsive organizations are to phone calls..much more so than lame ass emails.

Also of note, which clearly many of you missed, I did NOT make a call to arms telling them to suspend anyone..all I asked is that you voice your opinion and provided the appropriate avenue to do so, whatever it may be...I would not be so presumptuous as to TELL people what they should say..so getzhole15 pull your head out of your ass and think before you post...or try reading and comprehendnig before you respond...I know..a lot to ask.

It may come as a shock to you bandwagon duck fans, but Pronger has a long history of taking cheap shots.

Now I know most of you think he only played for the Oil and the ducks so it may come as a shock.

Everyone and their mom knows he was drafted by Hartford, dealt to st louis, blah blah blah, wow such an astute hockey mind. Please paint his entire history of cheapshots.

Wow..the whole 'Call Collin' deal is now getting some play in Canada....

Plenty PO'd at Pronger

In spite of the Red Wings' 5-0 drubbing of the Ducks Tuesday night, fans in Detroit are raging mad. The target of their fury is Chris Pronger.

If you missed the game, Red Wing Tomas Holmtrom was double-teamed by Pronger and Rob Niedermayer mid-way through the second period. The duo hammered Holmstrom into the boards from behind. Holmsrom's helmet popped off and he was left with a gash on his head that needed 13 stitches.

Niedermayer got a five-minute boarding penalty. Pronger wasn't penalized.

Thus the fury Wednesday morning in Motown. Words like "pretty boy" and "reckless" and "whiner" are being paired with Pronger's name in blogs and news sites.

There is still a chance Pronger will be disciplined by the league. Word from Colin Campbell could come down any minute.

Which is why folks at the Detroit Free Press are urging Wings fans to give the league discplinarian's office a call.

In case you're interested, here's the number: 416-981-2777.

The number, I believe, is for the general NHL offices, however if you ask to speak with Colin Campbell you get transferred to someone whom I assume is his secretary...when I asked if I could speak with him I was told he was in a very important meeting :hehe: Just kidding I was told he was not in so I left a message.
