We lost game 2 against Avalanche at home.

We lost game 4 against Avalanche in Denver.

We lost game 4 against the Ducks in Anaheim.

We lost game 5 against Avalanche at home.

So we are going to lose the next game but win the two last games? :)

Who knows.

Who knows is right... and I agree. Who cares, as long as we win. ;)

Although I'll make two predictions. If we lose game 5, 60-70% of this board will be screaming about how horrible holland, babcock, hasek, lang, dats, bertuzzi, <insert random player here> is... and how 'here we go again', 'we've got no chance', 'woah be me', 'the sky is falling', blah blah blah.

Yet, if we go on to win the series, most of those same posters will shout 'I believed', 'I never doubted', 'we are unstoppable', etc. etc..

Id' rather it not go in that direction, but if you lose game 5, I'll have something to thrive off of at least.

I would prefer them to win on Sunday afternoon, but maybe it is destiny to make us all a little nervous?

Either way it goes, whether we win another Cup or not, this team has achieved far more than ANY fan expected at the beginning of the season! We were suppose to struggle to make the playoffs and here we are 6 wins from our 4th cup in 10 seasons? I never liked Babcock or Hasek until these playoffs. I give them two thumbs up for a valiant effort either way!

Go Wings Go!

I really don't give a s*** how we win, as long as we win

I couldn't agree more, I don't really care when the WCF and SCF end just as long as they end with the Wings winning.

Even though it is pretty interesting that we are following the same path we did in 02, let's just hope it ends the same way.

If were the first to 4 wins, and Anaheim isn't i could care less how it gets done. Don't get me wrong, we'd all be laughing with a nice cigar if we went up 3-1, i guess it just wasn't ment to be.

We are 2-0 in game 5's in the last 2 rounds and us outscoring our opponents 9-2! So let's just hope this trend continues.

That's a rather interesting parallel, but like the others, I don't care how we get there, as long as we do.

The fact is, most of the time (I think like 80% or something) the team that winds Game 5 goes on to win the series. It's not imperative, but it is vitally important the Wings win tomorrow, cuz being up 3 games to 2 is a helluva lot different than being down 3 games to 2.
