Is it Rex's turn?

Well Babs gave Caledr less than 13 mins in 3 games, he then sits hime for Kopecky overt Hudler reason's being bigger

body to go against the Ducks. 3 games in and Kops has seen his time halved each game getting just 2.53 last night!

what I can't get my head round is the fact that Rex was getting just under 10mins a game even in his 3 games v the so called big Sharks. I just think we have a game winner warming the bench when he should be out there. Lets face it, Kops 1 goal in his 30 career games sure ain't gunna worry the Ducks D for sure. Hudler poses another problem for them altogether, if he gets a chances he's more likely to hit the net than Kopecy or Calder on current form. I don't really know, maybe Calder will get the nod and be the force he was at the end of the regular, lets hope and pray that one of them is a game winner come tuesday night.

i see no reason not to go with Hudler. i was all for kopecky a few games ago, and not that hes played terrible, but he hasnt really offset what calder was doing when he was in the lineup. maybe another shiffty creative player can give the ducks D more problems than someone who might get 2 hits a game??

ps - i dont know why but ive never missed having juri fisher in the lineup as much as i have this post season :(:(

Meh, u can't really complain how the wings have been playing with kopecky...they've controlled every game since they've plugged him in (although he's done f*** all)...but i don't think we expected him to do anything.

maybe plugging hudler in now wouldn't be a bad idea...nothing to lose...atleast he can put the puck in the net which were lacking of.

I have a love/hate relationship with Hudler being in this series. He would help greatly in the areas of getting the puck in the zone and scoring but on the other hand he wouldn't do so well in the areas of battling along the boards and being physical with the Ducks.

Scoring has got to be a concern right now so I say, hell! put him in!!!

You know the more I think about it the more I agree with you. Look at some of our lower line guys they are getting pushed around who are in there because of their size anyway. And to tell the truth I have always liked Hudler anyway, I have him on my 3rd line permanantly in my NHL game too.

Bertuzzi out, Calder out --> both Kopecky and Hudler in.

That would make our trade deadline seem totally worthless then. And who says Kenny isn't an active GM? :P

Regardless, I've began to see what everyone is talking about with Hudler. He is small, and really, has a good chance of being hurt because of his size. Kopecky doesn't play that much, and when he does, has been better than I orginally thought he would be. I really don't have a problem if Babcock keeps him in. If he doesn't, then Calder will go in first.

Couple this with the fact that Babcock seems to have it in for Hudler, so again, expect to see Kopecky either stay in the lineup or Calder put back in.

Our team D was pretty good in game five.

What we lacked was offence. This is a bad time for cold streaks for Dats and Z.

I think Huds would bring more offensive creativity to the Wings for game 6. Plus he plays with a lot of heart that the rest of the team could feed off of.

I say put him in.

He has the summer to heal. He should be played. He can finish, with few minutes.

Put him in Babcock!!!!

Hudler can score, put him in. He can really fire it and Jiggy doesn't know him.

Right on. Why not at least use him as a PP specialist? Those are the situations where he can make the biggest difference and won't get manhandled.
