This game is over because the refs don't know how to blow a whistle, despite clearly knowing how to blow the Ducks. That one was legit. The puck was out to Dom's left and the ref was right there. From the live shot it looked bad, but on the replay he was right to not blow that one dead. Not that he would have anyway. Too many power plays not capitalized on. How is it that not one guy on our team, save Dom, showed up tonight? Facing elimination anyone? Season over if you lose anyone? Maybe Lids isn't the right Captain. Congratulations to Anaheim, and best of luck against Ottawa. You guys deserve it. I realize that was a complete joke, but I wouldn't mind too much if the Wings got decimated with injuries in 2009 and ended up with the first overall pick. I feel so bad for Cleary , another lost year despite being our best player of the series, Another year goes by without a Newfies name on the cup. I'm not gonna get too mad over this tho. YoungGuns1340 1 Report post Posted May 23, 2007 Stop blaming the REFS, the Ducks are just a better team. They are tonight, but they werent throughout the series. Although this game brings the Wings down a notch. This series was a toss up. Bounces went the Ducks way as did the "adversity" (aka injuries). Not having Schneider really hurt us down the stretch. But good teams overcome things like that so we cant make excuses. At any rate, Wings played a great game throughout the playoffs despite the adversity. Nice to see them get this far. Go Sens! This season will go out on a high note--LGW exploding from the massive onslaught of people saying Datsyuk sucks and we should trash next season and omg let's goon it up. We've got twenty minutes left. It doesn't look promising. No, not at all. The guys have played like s*** out there.. and they've had two or three minutes where they actually had the puck and skated like they knew what ice hockey was.
