I think the only way as both a Canadian, AND a Wings fan I could root for a Canadian NHL team is If the Wings relocated to Canada! That would be so cool! (For me of course, not necessarily for everyone else.) Of course the name DETROIT would have to stay, and really how much sense does that make? Go WINGS GO!

I'm a firm believer that Anaheim cannot hang with Ottawa's speed and execution. I realize if Ottawa loses the series that I'll have my crow deep fried, thank you, but I think Ottawa will hand the ducks their arse. 5 games.

I hope the Senators beat the ******* hell out of the Ducks. The Ducks beat us fair and square, and I give credit where credit is due, but I've always hated those ******* bastards, and I hope the Sens beat the s*** out of 'em.

Throwing my support in for the Sens, now that it's official. For purely aesthetic reasons - I never had a strong liking for SoCal (OK, I can't stand the place. Sorry VIB16 ) Maybe it's time for Canada to get a Cup again. Sens in 7 - the curse of Detroit lives on and bites the Mighties for the second time.

Amen, brotha. I've been rooting for the Sens the last two rounds. And we did get beat by the best - we beat ourselves by not showing up when it really counted and Anaheim did.

its going to be a great final i know that, theres just many players on both sides that well i hate with a strong passion, so its kinda came down to saying f*** the ducks since they elimnated us. Then start cheering for the sens, i probaly wont even bother watching all the games it just makes it heart breaking that we were so close and fail at the end.

Then again would you guys rather of lost at the finals in the same way or go out like we did tonight

You can hope all you want, but Emerys been hot, Ottawas D has been sick, and their forwards have been, well. Ottawa right now is playing comparable defense and has comparable goaltending to Detroit. Add in the fact that their offense is about 10x as strong as Detroits and Anaheim had trouble beating Detroit, then Anaheim is going down.

Besides, the last thing the NHL needs is the Stanley Cup disappearing to a place where people think icing is what you put on a cake. For the 3rd time in 3 years.

oh, jeez... I loved Mike Fisher before I saw this. Now...

Go, Sens!!! Anaheim will be blown away by Ottawa, their offense is just sick, their D is solid, and Emery can bring it when he's on his game.

I hope the Sens sweep them back to Anaheim, Sens in 4. Win it for Elgin!
