There's a thread for reason's for wanting the Ducks to win . So I thaught I'd start one for reasons for wanting the Sens to win.

My reason's are I hate the Ducks and want the Senators to win it for little Elgin Fraser.

My reasons: I hate Pronger, I hate Brian Burke, and I think Anaheim is a lame ass market. I guess that makes a traditionalist, but Anaheim, which is basically nothing but a sub-city of LA, is stupid. If the Kings won it, I might look at it a different way, but not for Anaheim.

Besides: It'd be nice to get the Cup back in Canada. It would make the Canadian media *coughCBCcough* shut up about this constant crap of hockey is "too Americanized" and all this other bulls***. It gets annoying after hearing it so many times.

I think Ottawa's speed will be too much for Anaheim to handle. I mean at times the Wings made the Ducks look slow. How is Ottawa going to make them look? Likely slower. Plus Ottawa's PP will not bail the Ducks out like the Wings did. That 1st line the Sens have has been unstoppable so far. They slapped the Madden line, one of the best checkling lines in the league, all over the ice. I expect much of the same vs the Pahlsson line. I will be surprised if the Ducks win 1 game in this series. Lets face it. The Sens have been the best team in these playoffs right from the start while the Ducks have fluked their way here. Sens in 4.

Your number 1 reason is the big one for me....I simply cannot stand the possibility that Chris "Pansy Ass" Pronger would ever, and I mean ever, have his dirty hands on Lord Stanley's Cup.

Plus, I like Ottawa! That just happens to be less of a reason than the Pronger issue.

I can't remember ever being effected by a story like this before, such a brave little boy. As I said before I dislike the Ducks. but before I found out about Elgin I wasn't really bothering who wins the Cup . but now it's the Sens all the way.

2) Heatley (being from Wisconsin, I cheer for ex UW players)

3) I've just liked them for the past few years because they are a damned exciting and highly offensive minded team. Hell, I've wanted the finals to be Wings vs. Sens since 02-03.

4) It's kind of an underdog story, despite being among top pointgetters continually, they are never favorties, and Alfy has been bashed unfairly for all those years.

5) no Pronger.

6) a Canadian team needs a cup, seriously
