I pretty much agree on all major points with your novel ...especially with the grit from Babs, Cleary's playoff performance, and letting go of Malts. I really didn't even expect anything much out of Cleary, figuring that the guy shone for fifteen minutes half-way through the season and that he'd returned to normal after that.
