this kid really doesnt get alot of respect around the league, but every Ottawa game, and i mean EVERY Ottawa game that i watch i always see him make some kind of game changing play, his style of play is phenominal. Hes got a scorers touch, but plays with emotion and can hit. Hes an all around player and is growing into one of my all time favorties. What are everyones thought on this guy?

(PS He has moved even higher up on my favorite players list after the monsterous hit he put on Corey Perry tonight! I HATE perry!!!!)

It seems each time I watch a Sens game that the one thing I always hear from the announcers is how underrated Mike Fisher is. How can a player be underrated when all the announcers keep saying how good he is? I don't get it.

I agree, he's a very good player. Wasn't he nominated for the Selke Trophy? I think he has been nominated at least once.

I love Fish. Great player. He was underrated for awhile..he's not so much anymore as he's making a name for himself.

I KNOW THAT IS WHAT I MEAN! I can't watch the Sens and not hear this! It's the same when we watch the Wings and at least once or 10 times we have to listen to other team's announcers tell us how old Chris Chelios is. I mean come on, talk about something else please!

I love Mike Fischer. What he did with Elden was so touching, it made me have a whole new respect for him. I really hope he wins the Cup this year. He deserves it.

Yeah i read that story on the forums. Truly touching and really makes you respect someone like that!
