Cool beans for him. I love most goalies (duh) just never heard of him. He has a “CR” on the cup, that is to honor Clint Reif, their equipment manager who passed away during the season. That was pretty cool. Maybe he can go back and add his grandma, why not?

Yeah, if you get a cold that settles in your chest, the Canada Air doesn't help. We were in the Black Hills last week. The California cousins brought a cold.

We have some sun peeking through today, so who knows? Maybe it's thinning.

Wish those wild fires in Canada would get put out. The air here in Minnesota has reached unhealthy levels because of it.

This is the first I'm hearing of this...

I don't watch too much t.v. and I don't really have a news source I go to on the internet.

Who knew there'd be volatility in the oil and gas industry? Was making bank until this recent oil price collapse.

Meh. Back to school to get another business degree and come out making even more.

I love the climate out here far more than Ontario's Great Lakes climate. Not nearly as humid as the US Southeast, but humid enough to bug someone who's a native of much drier climates.

Filed for Canadian citizenship already, waiting for the ceremony to dump US citizenship (the cost went from around $400 to around $2300) and attain German citizenship through mom.

I would not recommend NYC. The cost of living is through the roof and the job market is insanely competitive, regardless of how much education and/or experience you have. There's a ton to do, but everything is expensive.

That being said, I haven't been here that long, but it hasn't been pleasant so far.

Ive never lived out there, but we stayed about a half hour away from times square for two weeks for a hockey tournament.

And I didn't get the full effect or get fully annoyed because I knew I'd be leaving soon enough, but it was just way to effing crowded. It was summer, thixh probably had alot to do with the amount of people. But the last thing i want When its 90° is to be walking nuts to butt with the people behind and in front of you, and arm to arm on your sides.

Granted I'm being slightly hyperbolic, but only slightly. It got awful pretty fast.

COMPLETELY UNRELATED,

But I was trying to cut my grass and my neighbors air conditioner started freaking out...

Like shaking violently, the fan blades knocking on something, so I had to stop halfway through because I was nervous it was gonna completely come apart and take off my leg or something.

Yeah, it's ridiculously crowded. Also, the heat here is not talked about as much as it should. It's been very hot here this summer. There's a lot to do and a lot to see, but it's definitely not for everyone. I was so pumped to come here but oh well.

At least now I know where I don't want to pursue a full-time job.

Yeah man, when I was there it was in the 90s everyday, and Muggier than hell.

Why don't you drive out of town and try to find something out of the crowd of the city.

I'm gonna start looking outside of the city for a temporary job. Was aiming for a summer internship, but that window is pretty much closed.

I wish the NHL would mandate that the protective netting behind the nets needs to be black. The white netting is an eyesore.

Its really hard to see a black puck against black netting....

I think it needs to be mandated white.

It would be kind of cool if it were red at the Joe, Green at Dallas, blue in Colombia, etc...

I missed it, thanks for the link. Speaking of comedians. I still miss Mitch Hedberg, the guy was funny as heck, too bad he died. Pablo Francisco is pretty funny though, and a lot of his impressions are spot on.

The depressing thing about tennis, is that no matter how good I get I'll never be as a good as a wall.
