I've been a die-hard Wings fan since '84, but I reside in the Milwaukee area...I've been to the old Chicago Stadium a few times, & the new United Center several + times.
A good "Detroit bar" for all things Michigan sports is the Gin Mill in the north side of the city.

Thanks for the recommendation! I'll definitely have to check out the Gin Mill during hockey season (since it sounds like I wouldn't be welcomed there any other time than that haha)

excellent, im on the north side near wrigleyville. besides the gin mill, do you know any bars in the area that regularly (or at all) show wings hockey? i know mad river is a michigan bar but i think its more football than anything.

The Gin Mill is the place to be if you're in Chicago.
The place gets packed for playoff games.
I've met some awesome wings fans there!
Going to a game at the United Center in Wings gear is always fun. ha!

Us Wisconsin/Illinois Red Wing fans should plan to meet before/after a game this 2007-2008 season in Chicago...Would be a good time

definitely. looks like there are alot of weekend wings/hawks games at the UC, i'll be planning on hitting up at least 1 or 2 of them for sure.
