I have to think he met with them out of respect only. This is the 2nd time that I know of the Leafs have called him. Scotty knows what kind of a mess the Leafs are in, and that management is to stupid to get out of it. Instead of actually listening to Scotty, the Leafs refused his demands. You'd think with his track record, the Leafs would say, "Whatever you want, we'll do it". This is another reason the Leafs will go another 40 years without a Cup.
