Guest DetroitIan Report post Posted July 1, 2007 Philly could easily be on the playoffs now, depending on how good their goaltending is. Biron played really well for Philly last season. And that was with the team they had last year. Now this this new squad in front of him, he will definitely flourish. What a turnaround from last year. RedRockit 0 Report post Posted July 1, 2007 Biron? Briere? Philly can contend, I think.
shannyfan1414 0 Report post Posted July 1, 2007 This is a big suprise to me. Why Philly? Does he think that he can turn them into a contender with a little help? I would rather retire then play in Philly. Very strange.
SweWings 45 Report post Posted July 1, 2007 Forsberg will likely sign for a cheap contract if he feels he's healthy enough. He doesn't lack money, he'd only come back to win...
Flip-check 6 Report post Posted July 2, 2007 To go from Buffalo to Philly ? I don't get it .. I don't either. Why? Why go to the Flyers? They'll be lucky to make it into the playoffs. Briere made a name for himself this year, he deserves another team.
vangvace 12 Report post Posted July 3, 2007 They'd be dumb to sign Forsberg, even if they had the money. Forsberg is considering retirement; apparently he is sick of all the injuries. He has mentioned Colorado as a possible destination if he decides to continue playing in the NHL. Rumor on Philly Sports Radio is that Forsberg is considering pulling a Roger Clemens this year... if he decides to play.
Kp-Wings 3 Report post Posted July 3, 2007 10 million a season is a joke. Hello Alexei Yashin part deux. Although, I like that the big market teams are breaking the bank again, just like the good old days before the salary cap. Suck on that you bastard small market teams!
