norrisnick 1 Report post Posted July 4, 2007 That's a solid $1M too much for a 15G+ 30Pt+ player.
Kp-Wings 3 Report post Posted July 4, 2007 Thank God he's not coming here. The Islanders continue to drop the ball by signing these guys to overly large contracts. While it isn't as bad as some (Daniel Briere), you cannot possibly convince me Fedotenko is worth 3 million a season. Of course, Lang makes 4 million a season, but Chicago is just plain stupid. superstarsingh 23 Report post Posted July 4, 2007 (edited) I would have loved if he were to be a Wing, but for that money, hell no. Thank God he's not coming here. While it isn't as bad as some (Daniel Briere), you cannot possibly convince me Fedotenko is worth 3 million a season. Of course, Lang makes 4 million a season, but Chicago is just plain stupid. The Isles are far more foolish. Edited July 4, 2007 by superstarsingh
OsGOD 3 Report post Posted July 4, 2007 The Isles are far more foolish. Nah so sure... they realised th' errors o' thar ways 'n bought out th' waste o' space Yashin... that accounts fer somethin' intellegent.
Kp-Wings 3 Report post Posted July 4, 2007 The Isles are far more foolish. Any team willing to give Lang 4 million a season is by far the stupidest team in the league. The 'Hawks are by far the worse organization. I can go into how bad of ownership they have, from outrageous ticket prices to blacking out home games on TV, to failing to even attempt to build a playoff contending team year after year after year. The Islanders aren't exactly smart either, but since Milbury has left, it hasn't been quite as bad. At least their ticket prices are affordable, and they broadcast home games on TV. superstarsingh 23 Report post Posted July 4, 2007 Yes sir, but those mistakes were made at some point in time. The Islanders are historically, the most poorly managed franchise of all time.
captainsubtext 0 Report post Posted July 4, 2007 islanders have got loads of space though...they;ve been utterly assraped this fa season In fact they kind of have to overpay their signings in order to somehow reach the bottom of the Cap. That team really looks terrible now.

I completely understand. I based what I said mostly on the Milbury years.
Guest Agalloch Report post Posted July 4, 2007 I wanted Fedotenko, because I figured he would be dirt cheap, and that he has a decent amount of potential. I was wrong about the cheap part. Who the f*** is left as far as good forwards go? Guerin and Shanny? That's awful.
martyrme19 73 Report post Posted July 4, 2007 SHAN THE MAN! SHAN THE MAN! people in NY loved him last year......he's still got some left in the tank. Besides, he needs to retire where he belongs.

As of right now I'd consider him the odds-on "favorite" based on his skill level, likelihood of a one-year deal and probable salary.

He'd actually have to try, and use his talent then.

If Babcock didnt like Langs laziness , I dont know how he would be able to put up with Yashins laziness. I dont think Kennys stupid enough to sign Yashin anyway , Hes a cancer to your whole organization. (See Ottawa&NYI)
superstarsingh 23 Report post Posted July 5, 2007 I doubt Yashin is coming but if he does end up a Wing we will have an undisputed whipping boy.

Yashin hasn't actually "tried" since his first season in Ottawa. I doubt Yashin is coming but if he does end up a Wing we will have an undisputed whipping boy. He would be mine, that's for sure.
