While i admire Kenny's resliance to overpay, its better to overpay than to get nothing at all and be left with tons of cap space.
We'd have next to zero cap space whatsoever after we signed he and Hasek, plus we'd be locking up an incredibly old guy for two years.

Let the insults toward Kenny commence.
Before you start, see contract details: 2 years/$9m. $4.5m per year. Go Isles.
good lord.

However, I guess we're not going to be getting a top six winger. Our offense is going to suck balls this year. Holland doesn't seem to be interested in getting one, since Shanny is the only one left (gross).

Not much left out there now. I'll be curious to see how our offense does this year.

As long as Kenny doesn't sign Yashin, I'm fine with everything.
Just don't let the Wings be the team that gave Alexei Yashin another shot...
Guerin is a decent player.
4.5 million seems a bit too much though.
And the end of the season we can say if it was for sure too much..
I went to buy some camouflage pants the other day but I couldn't find any.

Oh well. There's one more old guy that we don't have to see break his hip as a wing.

shanny helped convince gomez to go to ny , hes not leaving the rangers ....no thanks to gelinas .......and id welcome forsberg if he was willing to take 2.5 and come back in 2008 when hes ready , but it wont happen either
