If Vishnevski can come as cheap as 1.8 million, than Markov should be able to sign for 1.5 million. Vishnevksi is a much better hitter than Markov, and better fighter to boot. They also both have the same offensive capabilities (which is none). I don't get why Markov thinks he's a 4 million a year player (not making this up either, MLive has confirmed that this is what he wants). What has he really done to warrant that money? If he's going to be an ass bag about it his salary demands, then I just assume sign Andy Sutton, since he'll come cheaper then what Markov is asking for.
