Nothing like watching the Lions to put you to sleep. I'm surprised the Red Wings are playing on Thanksgiving though, I can't recall this happening any time recently. The Lions had 10+ wins in 91, 93, and 95, including a 12-4 season in 91 when they went to the NFC championship game, losing to the ridiculously good Redskins (best offense and second best defense in the NFL) I still remember going to the playoff game against the Cowboys that year. I never thought it would take more than 15 years for them to match that performance! Come to think of it, '91 was a good year for the whole city. The Tigers had a winning record, the Wings won the Norris, the Lions went to the Conference Final and the Pistons were in the playoffs. Plus, the Drive went to the Arena Bowl and the Rockers won whatever championship they played for.... And I think the Wolverines went to the Final Four. Not sure.
