sergei_is_still_a_wing 1 Report post Posted July 16, 2007 NUMBER ON THE FRONT: basketball much? this isn't b-ball, this is hockey. b-ball jerseys have them on the front because there is no place for them on the shoulders. hockey sweaters do not have face dilemma and should therefore stick with the three places they are currently. end of story IMO. bringback91 2 Report post Posted July 16, 2007 There okay. Better than the ones they just had IMO, if infact these are the new jerseys. Don't know why they don't go back to the old ones they used to have when they first got to Dallas. Better yet, the Northstars jerseys with a D instead of an N. Guest jaytan Report post Posted July 16, 2007 For some reason, that image isn't appearing on my computer.
Guest jaytan Report post Posted July 16, 2007 Probably fake, but bad, nonetheless. This is a professional ice hockey team, not a high school team. Where do you find these jersey editors? That is the real question. We could get some LGW competitions going here! Just download a trial version of Photoshop or Paintshop (or steal a full version). Here are some templates: http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v98/rcmcme/Jersey-2.gif http://members.optusnet.com.au/robert.mere...key-Template.ai http://www.geocities.com/rogerclemente_isx/resources/
auxlepli 17 Report post Posted July 16, 2007 Real or not, they look good ... except for the numbers on front. Also, green and black is not a good color combination IMO.
Guest DetroitIan Report post Posted July 16, 2007 Their dark jersey is actually really frickin sweet. Never thought I'de say that about a Stars jersey. But its a huge improvement on their previous uniform.

Flip-check 6 Report post Posted July 16, 2007 I found this on some other forms, and they look like how they were described to look like. I don't like them though i think there ugly. they should have stayed with the black and green star jersey, those were sweet Even though they're not official (Seriously, I keep forgetting whenever those jersey photos come up... that they're always obviously a non-official work), I really do hate the number on the front. Someone else likened it to basketball... it looks roller hockey-ish to me. Both old uniforms pwn these two.
NC WINGS FAN 5 Report post Posted July 16, 2007 like them better than the all-over star. love the color scheme. I think the dark one would look better with the stars logo on it like the white one does. Other than that they look awsome. It's nice to see that some one finally realized that simpler is better ( i.e. Redwings, Blackhawks, Maple Leafs, Canadiens, Bruins, Rangers, Flyers, Oilers, etc.)
vangvace 12 Report post Posted July 16, 2007 Just so long as they got rid of that God-awful third jersey they had (I know, I know...no more 3rds). -Tim Third jerseys will be coming back next offseason...
Legionnaire11 0 Report post Posted July 16, 2007 (edited) they actually look more like the original Dallas Stars jerseys Edited July 16, 2007 by Legionnaire11
Guest jaytan Report post Posted July 17, 2007 Now that I'm at home and all the images work, I can chip in.... I've seen this before, quite a while ago actually. It's a fan concept based on rumours about the actual change. Maybe Dallas will end up using something similar, but this isn't official. And as far as the whole basketball/football/soccer/whatever look to it, this is actually a throwback to what was a common look in hockey. Some college teams (off the top of my head, I can cite Denver, New Hampshire, Alaska and Boston U as examples) use something similar today.
StarsWingsFan 0 Report post Posted July 17, 2007 they actually look more like the original Dallas Stars jerseys I hope that's sort of what they look like. Although, I do like the jersey design they have now.
