YoungGuns1340 1 Report post Posted July 26, 2007 On the one hand, he could do awesome with Havlat. On the other, I can see him getting tossed around like a rag doll.

Kp-Wings 3 Report post Posted July 29, 2007 I'm surprised Wirtz was willing to part with all that money. Kane could potentially make almost 3 million in a very short amount of time. It's a ridiculous signing in my opinion. I didn't even consider this guy to go #1 overall, as I thought Kyle Turris was better. Kane is pathetically small, and from what I hear, has a bad attitude. Plus, one season in the OHL doesn't garner anyone anything, especially of the potential money he could make. If he knew what was right, he would have stayed another year. If he does play in the NHL, he'll get the piss beaten out of him. 5'9, 160 pounds is horribly small.
