zata40 3 Report post Posted August 16, 2007 I like them but on the home it looks like the numbers are on the right side, so maybe we wont be the only team with moving "C"s and "A"s

zata40 3 Report post Posted August 16, 2007 ok never mind what i just said, i just found this picture with the number on the left side as normal on the home. so i don't know why the numbers are on the right on the hanger.
al48 1 Report post Posted August 16, 2007 The number on the front just makes it look too cluttered. Other than that, I like the changes they made.

akustyk 84 Report post Posted August 16, 2007 don't like this. with logos not being scaled down it looks really like filling whole front surface. very non-stylish and pretty much incorrect in terms of visual identification rules. on the side note: having seen hockey played with "large" jerseys for long time I think I'll have a tough time to adjust seing players slim like some fashion models it's just improper for me to see males wearing such tight tops. :puke:

Hank 0 Report post Posted August 16, 2007 I like them. But I wish they could find a way to make all goalies look like that WITH their full equipment on. (sorry, I know that's another topic that's been beaten to death).
Chase 0 Report post Posted August 16, 2007 Not bad... Number thing on the front is weird, but other than that they aint bad.
toby91_ca 620 Report post Posted August 16, 2007 ok never mind what i just said, i just found this picture with the number on the left side as normal on the home. so i don't know why the numbers are on the right on the hanger. I'm guessing the number is on the right side on the picture with the hangers simply so you could see it. If it was on the left side, it would be half-covered. vangvace 12 Report post Posted August 16, 2007 Like seeing a goalie whering the new jersey. The new Islanders jersey... too bad you can't get rid of a team because of ugly jerseys. They make Oregon football look good.
OsGOD 3 Report post Posted August 16, 2007 Ditch the #'s up front and they look pretty good. Form fitting on goalies looks funny... it will a nice chuckle all season long.

Yzermania19 1 Report post Posted August 16, 2007 The sweater isn't bad, but the number on the front has got to go...why the eff are teams doing that? It makes the front of the sweater look far too cluttered, especially when you add a C or an A. Not to mention it doesn't go with hockey - numbers on the front of a jersey are a baseball, basketball and football thing, NOT a hockey thing!!! Those goalie pads, though, are hideous...they look like some bad, mid-1980's All-Star game pads.

glasgowcelticwing 18 Report post Posted August 16, 2007 I like them but on the home it looks like the numbers are on the right side, so maybe we wont be the only team with moving "C"s and "A"s They ain't that bad . Most of the new Jersey's haven't been that bad.
Kp-Wings 3 Report post Posted August 16, 2007 The number on the front completely ruins it. ...other than that, it's pretty good. Their staying true to the original design, which is good. I'm tired of almost every team in the league changing their logo's all in one year. Still, it could do without the number on the front. It's such a stupid idea. GMRwings1983 8,794 Report post Posted August 16, 2007 I don't like the idea of having the sleeves be of a different color than the rest of the jersey. It looks too messy. The numbers on the front do suck, but hey at least the league hasn't decided yet to put names on the front.
theman19 47 Report post Posted August 16, 2007 if the numbers arn't on the front of this one, it'd be my favorite new jersey so far.
NeverForgetMac25 483 Report post Posted August 16, 2007 They are a little too busy for my liking. That, and if they shrunk down the logo to be about 2/3 of the current size, I would like it more.
