FireCaptain 563 Report post Posted September 5, 2007 I was hoping someone would give him a chance at 500. JR was fun to watch and never afraid to run his yap.

YoungGuns1340 1 Report post Posted September 5, 2007 This is actually a pretty decent move by the Sharks. Its not like Roenick is a slacker or anything. And for whoever was joking about this being the missing piece to the Sharks puzzle, it actually kind of is. The biggest problem with the Sharks in the playoffs last year was motivation and leadership. Thats precisely what Roenick brings. The veteran presence that hell bring to that locker room will be invaluable to that squad. If they get a top 4 vet Dman before the deadline, theyll have all the pieces to the puzzle and will give everyone a rough ride in the playoffs.
