eva unit zero 271 Report post Posted September 13, 2007 (edited) http://www.redwingscentral.com/camps/2007-...etroitMain.html i swear to god NFl training camps arn't this size I would hope NFL traning camps are bigger than 67 players, as the NFL roster is 53 players compared to 23 for NHL. Oh, and the first cut in the NFL is down to 75 players; if they aren't using 67 players or more, who the hell is getting cut? EDIT: Typo correction Edited September 13, 2007 by eva unit zero
toby91_ca 620 Report post Posted September 13, 2007 That is quite a large list, I would normally expect 50-55, but then again, there are 16 free agent try outs attending this year. Oh, and the first cut in the NFL is down to 75 players; if they aren't using 77 players or more, who the hell is getting cut? The Wings training camp is starting with 67 players, not 77, but your point is quite valid.

Curban915 0 Report post Posted September 14, 2007 Why does everyone think the wings need someone to fight no one fight these days, its just not cool to fight, why cant everyone just get along. If we bring in a fighter what are we going to do with the pain train?

OsGOD 3 Report post Posted September 14, 2007 They won't be able to fight anymore anyways... everytime they try to punch the already strained fabric will tear on the jerseys... the tearing and constant sewing back up the jerseys will have the trainers put a lot stress on the players to not get in fights cause they are sick of sewing up fabric. Winged Scooter 0 Report post Posted September 14, 2007 I love the size of that roster, think about it, if the coaching staff realistically wants to look at that many players, that can only be a good thing right? Think DEPTH, DEPTH, DEPTH !!
