Parking @ JLA question

Does anyone know if its still 15$ again this year? Greektown from what I seen, is no longer allowing free parking with a marked parking ticket from the casino floor, you need some sort of greektown card. Blah...and Olympia's website has a " under construction" dealie where prices for parking would be. ack. I'm going to the 9-20 game next Thursday :)

I believe you can just park at Hockeytown cafe and take the free shuttle to the game. Thats what I usually do

It does... it picks you up where it drops you off... be prepared to wait a bit though... they are only so big and only so many and tons of people.

We park (and tailgate illegally) on cobo roof $6 rocks!!!

I normally park in the JLA garage for $15, but I'm thinking of trying the roof to save some cash. How to you get to it from the Lodge coming in from I-94, and what's the best way to get back to I-94 after the game?

Oh no... I don't have any tickets to any games as of yet... Saving for Feds and Roenick to come to town ;)

But I would park on Cobo roof if you can, 1/2 as much as the joe and you get out 100x faster.

Offsides in her drunken stooper corrected me saying its $6 before 6pm and $8 ******* after 6pm... her words not mine, but they are correct.

Alrightie then...I shall see if I can find my way to cobo. I am sure I pass it going to JL from the north.

Thank ya.

i park at hockeytown and take the people mover. Depending on if there is something going on its usually 5$ and the people mover is 50 cents each way. If there is no football Ford Field is 5 bucks too.

I used the valet right out front of the JLA, but I haven't gotten my car back yet. Nice guy said he would detail it for free. That was last years first game. I'm hoping to see him this year to get it back.

We park at cadilac center $5 it has it's own people mover stop, easy in, FAST OUT. And it's a police station too so it's safe. We can walk to Greek Town, Chelli's, Detroiter Bar, or Hard Rock for dinner and then catch a bar bus or the people mover to the game.

Okay, I'm answering on how to get to Cobo off of 94. Take 94 to the Lodge and stay to the left. Pass the Howard Street exit in the left lane and proceed under Cobo Hall. At the light (Washington Boulevard), turn right and go to the first light and turn right. That's the entrance to Cobo Hall. There is an elevator that takes you up to the main level and you can proceed to the Joe.
