Jonathan Toews..... Captain of the Hawks?

I was watching on CBC the Kings/Ducks game, and they were talking about young captains in the NHL. Cassie Campbell brings up that Marty Lapointe said "Toews should be our guy", and also said he'd be the best choice for captain.

Now, I like Toews as much as the next guy, but to name him captain this young, wouldnt be great for his career. It was only something Cassie brought up, but I really dont see the Hawks doing this.

I think it would be ridiculous to give a young player like Toews the captaincy. He hasn't even played 1 NHL game yet. It would be way too much pressure for him. I think Toews needs to establish himself first and then maybe in 5 years or so he can become a captain. Here is an article I found about Toews:
