What kind of DUMBASSES were you drafting against where you were able to get Loungo AND Hasek??? Must be a bunch of complete hockey morons in that league. Hell, I had the 7th pick in my league and by the time it was my turn to pick in the first round, Loungo and Hasek were already gone. And for good reason. See usually Im with experienced fantasy hockey players. I like a good challenge.
What time is it??? IT'S HOMER TIME!!!

What?

Hasek a top seven fantasy pick?

No.
In a 2005 study published by the journal Nature, researchers at Durham University in England concluded that, across a range of sports, we found that wearing red is consistently associated with a higher probability of winning. The researchers also suggested that red's effect may subconsciously intimidate opponents in athletic contests, especially when the athletes are equal in skill and strength.

I had the 12th pick in the LGW Buy-In league and I wasn't happy with my team until I got into the middle rounds and on. I'm VERY happy with this team as it stands now:

Centers: Olli Jokinen, Brad Richards, Patrice Bergeron, Mike Comrie, Brad Boyes, Derek Roy

Left Wing: Alexander Frolov, Rick Nash, Andrew Brunette

Right Wing: Petr Sykora, Marian Hossa, Alexei Kovalev

Defense: Paul Martin, Scott Niedermayer, Lubomir Visnovsky, Matt Carle, Francois Beauchemin, Philippe Boucher

Goaltenders: Evgeni Nabokov, Rick DiPietro

Not as good as you guys but here is my Yahoo team for the year:
C
Langkow (Cgy)
Legwand (Nsh)
Nylander (Wsh)

LW
Whitney (Car)
Stillman (Car)
Kozlov (Atl)

RW
Horton (Fla)
Hossa (Atl)
Gaborik (Min)

D
Gonchar (Pit)
Zhitnik (Atl)
Pitkanen (Edm)
Timonen (Phi)

G
Kolzig (Wsh)
Nabokov (SJ)
Roloson (Edm)

I'm going to try trading away an Atlanta and Carolina player or two for better team diversity if I can. Oh and the league is head-to-head playing all D and 2 of the other positions.
I make 1 or 2 posts a week tops. Sometimes they're gold, sometimes they're crap, but the end weight is the same.

blink.gif blink.gif Who ever traded away Datsyuk and Rolston, for Gaborik and Michalek, is by leaps and bounds, the most clueless fantasy hockey player on this orb we call earth. He or she is in a class of their own. Most one sided trade I've ever seen in all my fantasy years. blink.gif

I second that! Most one-sided trade ever!
