haroldsnepsts 4,826 Report post Posted October 9, 2007 Maybe it's just the fact that I watch them so often, but in these last five years or so, the Wings must be at the top of number of goals given up in the final minute of a period. I think there's some truth to it. They don't close out games as well as they did during the Cup years. But it's also a lot harder to shut down a game under the new rules. yeah, on the replay that wasn't the fault of the trailing red wing, someone turned their back and committed too far to the corner.
