auxlepli 17 Report post Posted October 19, 2007 (edited) He attended the Boston game with a cast on his left arm. I think he got into a fight with Chelios, but he's denying everything as usual. http://sports.yahoo.com/nhl/news;_ylt=AhL2...p&type=lgns EDIT: That Bettman is a crafty f*****. He already had his propaganda machine take the link down on his site. Yahoo! should be good to go unless he's leaning on them too. Izzy24 44 Report post Posted October 19, 2007 As soon as I read "Bettman has surgery," I assumed it was at the hands of Chelios.
WingWarrior25 0 Report post Posted October 19, 2007 (edited) I can't believe that some of you are making jokes at a time like this! It was a very seroius procedure and you should all feel ashamed of yourselves. I have obtained what i believe could very well be Gary's pre-surgery photos. It became apparent that profesional help was needed when Gary was heard muttering about replacing player helmets with plastic bags inorder to make them .09% faster. No word yet on if the dislodging was succesful. Edited August 2, 2008 by WingWarrior25
daniel1 32 Report post Posted October 19, 2007 Bettman has an inoperable tumor on his ass. It's a malignant Cheliopolis and can only be treated with a resignation procedure followed by a disappearing act. God I hate that f***. I would love to cram a glowing blue puck down his throat and twist a Reebok jersey around his scrawny neck while smashing him 8 times with each of our divisional rival's sticks. Then we'll see how much he likes seeing Chicago, Columbus, St. Louis and Nashville 8 times a season too. It's been scientifically proven that playing the St. Louis blues 8 times a ******* season will decrease anyone's attendance figures. Now if we had Pittsburgh, Toronto, or Philly coming in here instead of the 6th, 7th, and 8th games with "Columbus", then I'm sure more people would come to the Joe. interminded 1 Report post Posted October 19, 2007 Gary Bettman, commissioner. A man barely alive. Gentlemen, we can rebuild him. We have the technology. We have the capability to build the world's first bionic commissioner. Gary Bettman, will be that man. Worse than he was before. Worse, weaker, slower, dumber, you name it ! Gary Bettman 0 Report post Posted October 23, 2007 (edited) Don't worry everyone. I assure you I'm ok, and this recent injury will not stop me from doing what I do best, and that's managing the NHL at a top notch level. Glad to see I have so many supportive fans here. Skiing - Puck 0 Report post Posted October 23, 2007 (edited) Too bad Bettman didn't bleed out on the table and die. Just joking on the death part I wouldn't wish that on anyone. Now a major debilitating injury, thats a whole different thing. Edited October 23, 2007 by Skiing - Puck

Hiei 192 Report post Posted October 23, 2007 Either 1 of 2 things i could put in this space. 1. What's to stop Chris Chelios from performing a Labotomy on Bettman? 2. We should swap Bettman's chauffeur out with a Mr. Richard Gnida.
Opie 308 Report post Posted October 23, 2007 I was waiting for all of the wizard of oz jokes but didn't see any. I was seriously disappointed in the jokes on this thread. WingWarrior25 and interminded really put some effort forward, but where is the Wizard of Oz cast with Bettman photo shopped over the Scarecrow's body. Either way now I have another thing to add to my: "Fire Bettman, Hire Chelios # 24 sign" for the game in boston. Now I can add a pic of the scarecrow with Bettman's head on it!!! Winged Scooter 0 Report post Posted October 23, 2007 (edited) I'm of the opinion that Basille snapped his tendon in a cage match over the right to own an NHL team in Hamilton..... ** edit -- the complete cage match will be broadcast on Versus in December! Undercard will be Chelios vs. saskin in a last man standing match... Edited October 23, 2007 by Winged Scooter
