theman19 47 Report post Posted October 19, 2007 so i'm watching the Carolina/Pittsburgh game. Towards the end of the first period, carolina is attacking the zone and a penguin gets the puck and tries to clear it out of the zone, by way of the boards. Well a ref is against those boards so he jumps into the air dramaticly trying to avoid the puck,....right into Nick Wallin. It was ridiculous, Wallin is trying to hold the zone and all the sudden the butt end of a zebra comes flying at his nose. Anyway, he decks Wallin and the poor guy gets up holding his nose, after the ref's butt destroyed it. So to answer Sir drakes question, A ref didn't quite fight a player, but he did ass check him in the face. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
