SouthernWingsFan 854 Report post Posted December 20, 2007 With legendary GDT creator out of action, thought I'd make it since I'm signed in this early morning. No big fancy shmancy stats/charts from me though, not talented enough or have the time to find or create such things. Me thinks this will be a tight one but I'll go with a Red Wings kool-aid prediction of 4-3 in overtime. Datsyuk Lidstrom Samuelsson Zetterberg (OT winner)
Guest DetroitIan Report post Posted December 20, 2007 (edited) Mickey was doing the GDTs lately. And they were really good. Should have let him do it. It's all good though. Red Wings 3(Drake, Datsyuk, Flipper) Blues 0 Ozzie with the "S" word. (don't wanna jinx him)lol Edited December 20, 2007 by DetroitIan

zetterisbetter 4 Report post Posted December 20, 2007 i miss aflac. Whatever happened to him. No offence to whomever is making the game day threads. I jsut miss his franzenstien picture and the notion that somehow lilja has legally changed his name to pain train. Anyway wings win in a close one. 2-1 ozzie holds us in this one till hank finally realizes that he wants to win the scoring race and dekes out every blue three times before putting in the net

Cicada 4 Report post Posted December 20, 2007 4-1 Wings Zetterberg (2), Datsyuk, Hudler i was actually right with the score last night, prediced 6-2 in the GDT
puckloo39 5,686 Report post Posted December 20, 2007 (edited) Ozzie will be getting the nod tonight. It's already been establlished. See Above. It's been discussed to death, actually. Game is at 7:30PM to those of us in Central Time, btw. Booos will not be kidding around tonight, coming into this with a big losing skid - this will be five in a row, and they won't want to lose at home again. I would say watch out for Jackman, but he's not scary at the moment, projected -36 for the season? woo. Legace's knee will hold up tonight, against his former team. 5-4 Wings in a SO. Hudler with the SO winner. Edited December 20, 2007 by puckloo39
Cicada 4 Report post Posted December 20, 2007 someone on letsgoblues (i know...can't believe i went there), posted that Draper and Samuelsson were out tonight.. i know Draper was meant to not play tonight, but i've seen no source for Sammy being out. Anyone heard anything. would seem a bit strange if both didn't play though, since Hartigan's back in Grand Rapids now, wouldn't that mean we'd be playing with one forward short? Downey should be in, especially since the Blues have fighters... is macdonald gonna be in the game? should be...he's not injured and he's already played a couple of games for them
puckloo39 5,686 Report post Posted December 20, 2007 Hoping to see Downey tonight -- but they could put Drake in bec. it's his old team, or something dumb like that. Maybe the poster at LGB heard a local radio source in St. Louis or something on Sammy and Draper being out. Malts is the only one listed as out tonight, because of his back problem. The game will be on Center Ice, so you all won't have to listen to half of us in here b*tch about missing the game. Yay!

Put him on a line with Crosby and Ovechkin and I guarantee he gets 7+ goals this season. you put ME on a line with Crozby and Overhkin and i get 7+ this season, and i have no feeling in my feet, poor motor control and could never skate for s*** even when i was healthy! WhiteLightning91 105 Report post Posted December 20, 2007 Ozzie is in tonight Draper was told he wouldn't play in both back-to-back games since he was just coming off his injury but I remember reading last night that he was going to try to talk to coaches out of it by skating this morning and seeing how he felt. Kris said he felt absolutely fine after last nights game so I see no reason why he wouldn't be in tonight. Blues - 3 (Kariya/Boyes/Perron) Red Wings - 2 (Hulder/Rafalski) Sorry dudes. I think we are due for a loss. having played last night I think we will fail to keep our feet moving and as a result take too may penalties. Osgood keeps the game as close as he can but we are obviously gassed and simply run out of time. PROOVE ME WRONG GUYS!!!
Earthhuman 8 Report post Posted December 20, 2007 I don't know... could go either way. I was all pumped up till I saw that last post. Still, how can St. Louis possibly win? Against Osgood?
