I also can't figure out how you can have one Sedin there without the other.

My money is on the West this year (or course).

Henrik is leading the Nucks in a lot of categories. Yes Daniel is 2 pts behind and has 13 more goals, but I think Henrik has an assist on almost every one of those, and he has more than 20 assists.
I think if I had a twin and we played together for so long, I would have wanted to get drafted to separate teams, to establish my own identity. But then again show me a better way to come into the league and make a bigger impact than playing with some one that you know as well as you know yourself.

"When I was looking for a captain, I wanted a guy with the Red Wings crest tattooed on his chest," said former Detroit coach Jacques Demers, who named Yzerman captain in 1986. "Steve Yzerman was that guy."

Nice representation from the Wings.

One thing that bugs me a lot is the attempt to represent as many teams as possible instead of taking the most deserving. Rafalski got snubbed big time! Second in defense points behind Lidstrom and far better plus/minus than the supposed "no brainer" Pronger. Duncan Keith in front of Raffy?
oh well I guess... Osgood, Lidstrom, Zetterberg, Datsyuk, Babcock, suppose I should be happy

Great for Ozzie, I really hoped they would give him the nod. He earned it.

I believe they did represent each team for the all star game last year. I remember thinking that there were so many players that didn't deserve to be there.
I am hoping, if Ozzie decides to go, that they put a mic on him during his period like they did with Turco last year.
I know it's a meaningless game, but I can't help being excited for it since the Wings are so well represented.

I think there stats are almost as identical as you can get, with the exception of one being the passer and one being the shooter.
Henrik has more assists, more points (by a whopping 2) and a better +/- (by a whopping 3). Daniel has more goals, GWG, shots, etc.

Oh I didn't mean to make it look like I was supporting the decision, I was just trying to throw some logic into why, because they are both playing very well, on a decent team. 24-14-4

That's what I was thinking.
There's a couple guys who probably deserve to be there before Legace, Leclaire definitely being one of them.

You're right, I went back and checked the rosters and every team was reprented, but I thought I had read a summary article saying that 24 or 26 teams were represented.

I'm a lover, not a fighter. But I'm also a fighter, so don't get any idea's.

Oh and I know. I guess I am simply of the view that it does not make sense to pick one over the other. They should both be there or not.

Is it stupid that I just cried about 5 seconds ago when reading this? I am so freaking STOKED right now. He so deserves and I am so damn happy he's getting recognition for it. WOW. These past two days for Ozzie has been the best ever.
