Z and D for the C 712 Report post Posted January 23, 2008 Local media outlet claims Detroit Red Wings coach Mike Babcock visited a nearby Belle Tire searching for advice on how to beat Anaheim Ducks goalie Jean-Sebastian Giguere. I just hope we don't play s***ty on a back to back. Figures we get one against the Ducks.
Zion 93 Report post Posted January 23, 2008 I wouldn't worry about it. They usually don't play well on the West Coast, yet swept their Western Canada swing. They have 4 points in 2 games, and no Zetterberg. A victory would be great, but I'm learning not to "expect" a win every night. That just takes the fun out of this fantastic season. puckloo39 5,686 Report post Posted January 23, 2008 (edited) I just hope we don't play s***ty on a back to back. Figures we get one against the Ducks. I have the same concern. They had that 'big" win last night v. the worst team in the West. Now a back to back v. the best in the West. The allure of a nice long break and desire to get home might be distracting, though. I smell trouble tonight, but maybe they'll surprise me and beat the smully Yucks. Hope so. Edit: thanks for the pics, Duckie... I am at work and can't play with picture edits here. I just hope we don't play s***ty on a back to back. Figures we get one against the Ducks. Them, and every other f*ckin' team in the NHL. Sorry, but it still pisses me off that the Wings have 15 B2B's this season. IMO every team should play within 1-2 B2B's of each other to keep things even. That certainly isn't the case this year.
