With the help of Excel and my boring job I added all our rankings up.

true, I could have posted this in the thread, but after 45 minutes of adding up I figured I deserved my own thread a little.

First of all, there were a lot of players with just one vote.

This means there are some LGW'ers who have some very personal issues with some players.

Here they are:

Allen, Ballard, Boogaard, Brashear, Chelios, Cooke, Devereaux, Domi, Drury, Brown, Fedorov, Grier, Hatcher, Hinote, Jagr, Jovanovski, Kilger, Kronwall, Kubina, Lang, Laperierre, Lang, Legace, Mayers, McCabe, Parker, Roloson, Rucinsky, Salvador, Spezza, Sundin, Thomas, Tkachuk, Turco, Vokoun and Zherdev.

These are the ones with two votes: Blake (Rob, I guess), Burrows, Foote, Heatley, Marchant, Naslund, Thornton .

Three votes: Chara, Hasek, Kiprusoff, Modano, Phaneuf, Sedin Twins, Selanne.

Four votes: Forsberg, Maltby, Roenick

Five votes: Avery, Downie, Samuelsson, Simon, Tucker

Six votes: Emery, Getzlaf, Giguere, Jackman.

Seven votes: Alfredsson

Eight votes: Crosby (who would have thought ?), Ruutu

Nine votes: Bertuzzi, Hartnell

Twelve votes: Iginla, Niedermayer

Fourteen votes: Kariya

And now for the top three:

3rd place: Corey Perry

The main reason is he's good while he's ugly.

That not something we as Detroit Red Wings can't deal with evidently.

2nd place: Jordin Tootoo

Needs no explanation I think.

and the 2007-2008 player we hate the most with an astonishing 61 votes !!

coz there are more than just Wings fans on this board and I'm sure like

hell they don't exactly love Maltby

that Chelli got just one vote comes as surpise. looks like people are more

forgiving towards old people :D

I wouldn't call the outcome a surprise. though, I wonder if Tootoo gave

Pronger a run for his money here. I'd say so...

This forum is amazing. I always learn new things about hockey. For example, with that picture you posted I never knew that Pronger posed for the cover of Teen Beat magazine in the 1980s! Wasn't that during the time period when he was considering taking the lead vocal spot for the reunited Partridge Family tour?

I started that 5 players you hate the most thread, so thanks for tallying up the votes like that. I was honestly too lazy to do it myself, but I knew that Pronger had the most votes. That's kind of what I had in mind when I started that thread, because I wanted to see who was truly the most hated.

Nice to be in the majority. Although I thought Joe "Pick on players smaller than me who don't fight and try to injure people by slashing their legs" Thornton would have more votes.
