I can't wait till PAIN TRAIN opens up like that. :D

Also, it's too bad Peat had his career ended with this "new NHL" crap. He was very fun to watch.

Yeah, i thought Peat had alot of potential at one point, then he kind of faded off even before he was completely out of the league. When you dont play much its hard to win all your fights though. He was one of my favorites. With regards to Pain train, he'd never have a fight like that. Nobody could withstand more than 3 of his shots before toppling over.

Here are my favorite Rob Ray fights, Lou. I've always thought he was kind of cheap shedding his jersey, but he did have a monster right hand for an undersized fighter.

I knew the Kyte fight was coming even before i clicked the link...love that one! In the SJ feed of it you can hear Ray yelling at Kyte when he's down...something to the effect of "Stay down *******!"

Wendel Clark & Marty McSorley in the 1993 playoffs after McSorley elbowed Gilmour. This was the same incident that caused Pat Burns to try and get at Barry Melrose.

Clark/McSorley wasn't the best fight you'll ever see, but given the raw emotion of the playoffs and the cheap shot by McSorley, it's just a great fight.

And if you haven't had enough of watching Kyte get beat up. Here's another one.

Im sure somebody will chime in about how cheap it was of Brown, but that was great! I never saw that one.

I love Dave Brown. He might be my favorite fighter ever. It's amazing that he threw exclusively with his left, yet no one could do a damn thing about it when it came to strategizing against him.

Anyway, here's a great one of Brown vs. Ray, where unsurprisingly, both of them wound up shedding jerseys.

Back in the old days Gordie Howe fought Lou Fontinanto and absolutely destroyed him. Fontinato was never the same so called tough guy again.

Probert's fights with Coxe were also good ones.

I doubt there's any footage of that Fontinato fight, but I've always heard stories about it.

The truth is, I've never heard of Gordie Howe fighting anyone else. I guess that fight cemented his reputation as a guy not to be messed with.

Not the greatest fight, but although i hated Lemieux like the rest of you, there is a redeeming quality about his rematch with McCarty. Maybe cause it turned out to be closer than anyone would have expected, fights where guys come back after getting their ass beat and hold their own even as the monster underdog is something ive always appreciated. This fight is one my favorites because of the history behind it.

A few of my favs have already been shown, but heres another:

I always liked PJ Stock. He seemed to be a bit better of a skater and defensive player than most 'goons' and I always thought he would have been a good fit for the Wings.

I loved Stock as well...and i also wanted him as a Wing (but you could probably say the same for 75% of fighters for me ;) ) Not a bad player like you said, and always excited the crowd to the max. Every time he dropped the gloves the potential was there for a fight of the year.

This reminds me of one of the funnier fights ive seen...for the beginning and the fact that Odjick keeps his right glove on the whole time. To set the stage, this was a playoff game, the game where McLaren (Bos)elbowed the s*** out of Richard Zednik (MTL). Outcome was decided late in the 3rd, and Odjick was trying to get Stock to go.

Sorry, no volume.

You could pretty much insert any Probert or Kocur fight here and I would be happy, might even consider it my favorite fight until I see the next one, then that one will be my favorite fight.

That being said, I love the totality of the

. I was quite impressed. Downey started heading for the box almost before Boulerice hit the ice, he knew he had the knockout.

I still think Grimson's KO of Simpson that I posted earlier was the best that I've ever seen. It looked so effortless.

The most brutal KO I've ever seen was last year when Orr laid out Fedoruk. I've seen guys get carried out on stretchers before after fights, but always after their head hit the ice. Fedoruk, on the other hand, got knocked cold from the punch itself.

That's not gonna come off in the shower.

Awesome! I used to have that fight on one of my fight dvd's. That was one of the most perfect punches I ever saw and Baron was a bloody mess for it.

One of the best TKO's I ever saw was Ken Baumgartner on Dean Malkoc. Malkoc threw some but then sort of let up in the middle of the fight and the Bomber drilled him with 2 lefts and down he went. He did get up unbelievably but it was still a TKO.

And of course Kocur on Kyte was a huge KO.

Here's Kyte getting sent into next week again by Rob Ray

A personal fav of Dmac back in the heyday just owning Cam Russell.
