Here's another classic Probert fight. This was Scott Parker's welcome party to the NHL.

According to my profile, my reputation is excellent. LOL.

A few of my favs have already been shown, but heres another:

Aaron Downey tally = 4 Wins (Mclaren, PARROS, *Laperriere*, Wisniewski) - 1 L (**Boll**) - 5 Draws (Walker, Fedoruk, Davison, Shelley, O'Donnell)

(* = beatdown) (** = at the end of a shift)

Preseason prediction - Anaheim over Philadelphia in 6 (ok, well i'll settle for one right...)

Also, it's too bad Peat had his career ended with this "new NHL" crap. He was very fun to watch.

You'd think he learned his lesson here....

But he didnt....

Yeah, i thought Peat had alot of potential at one point, then he kind of faded off even before he was completely out of the league. When you dont play much its hard to win all your fights though. He was one of my favorites. With regards to Pain train, he'd never have a fight like that. Nobody could withstand more than 3 of his shots before toppling over.

Here are my favorite Rob Ray fights, Lou. I've always thought he was kind of cheap shedding his jersey, but he did have a monster right hand for an undersized fighter.

I knew the Kyte fight was coming even before i clicked the link...love that one! In the SJ feed of it you can hear Ray yelling at Kyte when he's down...something to the effect of "Stay down *******!"

Wendel Clark & Marty McSorley in the 1993 playoffs after McSorley elbowed Gilmour. This was the same incident that caused Pat Burns to try and get at Barry Melrose.

Clark/McSorley wasn't the best fight you'll ever see, but given the raw emotion of the playoffs and the cheap shot by McSorley, it's just a great fight.

Im sure somebody will chime in about how cheap it was of Brown, but that was great! I never saw that one.

I love Dave Brown. He might be my favorite fighter ever. It's amazing that he threw exclusively with his left, yet no one could do a damn thing about it when it came to strategizing against him.

Anyway, here's a great one of Brown vs. Ray, where unsurprisingly, both of them wound up shedding jerseys.

Back in the old days Gordie Howe fought Lou Fontinanto and absolutely destroyed him. Fontinato was never the same so called tough guy again.

Probert's fights with Coxe were also good ones.

I doubt there's any footage of that Fontinato fight, but I've always heard stories about it.

The truth is, I've never heard of Gordie Howe fighting anyone else. I guess that fight cemented his reputation as a guy not to be messed with.

Not the greatest fight, but although i hated Lemieux like the rest of you, there is a redeeming quality about his rematch with McCarty. Maybe cause it turned out to be closer than anyone would have expected, fights where guys come back after getting their ass beat and hold their own even as the monster underdog is something ive always appreciated. This fight is one my favorites because of the history behind it.
