Very true; actually if you think about it, Bertuzzi would have never gone after Moore if Moore didn't hit Naslund. Maybe Moore should be sued by Bertuzzi?

and then Big Bert can sue the NHL for lost wages due to being unfairly punished....

kinda like the Tripping/Diving penalties...

Bertuzzi alleges his former coach "knew or should have known that this was likely to result in injury to Moore." I can't stand Crawford but if he should have known it would likely result in injury then why wouldn't Bert have known. Oops, forgot slugs don't have the capacity to think. Shame on you Crawford.

Why doesn't Bert sue his old team mates? If one of them had hit Moore, Bertuzzi wouldn't have needed to. What was Crawford supposed to do? Bench everyone? Bert, what is your malfunction?

I hated Bert before he was a Wing. I grudgingly tolerated him in the Winged Wheel. I didn't think I could go lower in opinion of him, but he managed it.

This happens all the time in lawsuits, so I don't know why you guys are making such a big deal out of this.

Yeah, I agree it's strange, but so is this whole situation. It's not very often in sports, even in hockey, that an athlete is being sued for injuring someone, deliberate or not. How come Fedoruk didn't sue Orr last year for sending him to the hospital? It was deliberate wasn't it?

I agree that Bertuzzi's play on Moore differs from a fighting situation, but if he feels like he can get Crawford for some cash, then why not? If what Bertuzzi says about Crawford is true, then he's to blame at least somewhat for this fiasco.
