hey guys i just thought i would post this for people like me who love the game and hate to see people get hurt. for a while peter chiarelli (boston gm) was saying things looked grim and bergeron might be done for good. this kid has some talent and im really glad he is okay and is now able to rejoin his team way sooner than expected. just hope it isnt too soon and he doesnt get hurt again. here is the nhl.com link.

I hate to rain on this parade, I really do. However, Bergeron has only been cleared for full contact practice. He still is a long way away from playing.

I think if he plays before next season, it's a mistake. It's taken him forever to recover. I don't think he should risk his whole career on an underdog playoff run.

I heard he might come back as early as game 2. But it's the psychological lift that his return will give the Bruins. I told my friend Ellen about it (she is a die hard Bruins fanatic), and you would have thought she won the lottery. They'll be dancing in the streets in Boston.

If he feels healthy enough, then let him play. It could be the story of the playoffs if he manages to come it and just goes wild.

I am so torn on this issue of whether or not they should let this kid play this year, however the one thing I know is that it should not be his decision. Him feeling healthy enough is more than likely the desire to play burning him up inside.

This kid should be the face of the franchise for years to come and should be a great player IF HE IS FULLY RECOVERED!!!

He has said himself that he is 7-8 days away from playing shape once he starts full practice. So today's practice would be day one and then it would be a week at best, based on him knowing his own body.

I really wish the best for this kid, this injury could have been and still could be career ending, I hope the best for him and that next year he scores 40+ and wins come back player!!!

Seeing how Montreal absolutely OWNED Boston this year, I don't think he should risk it. Sure, having one of their best scorers will help the team's spirits but like someone said, I don't know if I'd take that chance on an underdog run that the B's are starting

If he made a big comeback and carried the team a little deeper than the first round that would be nice and all. Wouldn't it be tragic though if he struggled all season and then got bumped in the knoggin' during a first round loss and then went the way of Keith Primeau?
