Report: Brunnstrom to sign with Canucks

Highly touted Swedish prospect Fabian Brunnstrom is closing in on becoming a Vancouver Canuck.

The Canucks and Brunnstrom's agent JP Barry are hoping to have something finalized within the next week to ten days as the process has heated up over the last few days.

Kids are always selfish, he wants ice time instead of a challange. Would rather be a star rather then a supporting cast member.

If he does in fact sign he will prob be very good with the Sedins and the team will still only have one scoring line.

I'll believe it when its on paper. Reports like this are used as negotiating tactics all the time. I still wouldn't be surprised if he end up with the wings. Then again I just don't care that much about the guy.

I must say the article makes me think that Holland possibly may be out of the mix because we are in the playoffs...

Kid knows he probably will have to play for the Griffins if he signs with Detroit. Canucks are so crappy he has a good chance at #2 line minutes. Why soar with the Eagles when you can scratch around on the ground with a bunch of turkeys.
