NHL Out To Kill Tradition

Paraphrasing from the Red Wings Live pregame show. The NHL has warned Detroit Red Wings manager of Ice operations, Al Sobotka, to refrain from swinging the octopus when it is removed from the ice. If he does not heed the warning, he risks a fine. The reason for this? It can "incite the fans."

Isn't that the #$*!ing point!!

How can I put this delicately...

In JLA? blocking cell phone signals would do a better job of that.

This is fricken retarded by the way and I still blame Nashville for all of this sh*t. Stupid rats.

Alright, so it's settled.... when we're in the SCF - we'll go around the arena getting donations to stuff into a plastic bag.. wrap the octopus around it - and chuck it on the ice.

We get our tradition, and we pay the fine ;)

f*** the NHL and their attempt to stranglehold every franchise. It's none of their concern how Detroit gets 'fired up'.
