Could have used Drapes and Ozzy instead. They're at least in their mid 30s... geez.

Wings are old, Datsyuk's a diver (?), and Hasek flops.

Ok... are they Avs fans or ESPN hosts???

Or Drake, Mac,

That would have been funny had the effort and thought been put into it to use old players or here is an interesting idea, come up with something besides a geriatric joke!

"The more I know about people - the better I like my dog." - Mark Twain

"A wise man once told me, ‘Don’t argue with fools. Cause people from a distance can’t tell who is who'." Jay Z, Takeover

"When I was looking for a captain, I wanted a guy with the Red Wings crest tattooed on his chest," said former Detroit coach Jacques Demers, who named Yzerman captain in 1986. "Steve Yzerman was that guy."

“Told him if he wasn't ultra-competitive he couldn't come here. If he didn't bring it every day he couldn't come here, because he was going to hate it if he didn't, dislike the coach and dislike playing here.
“It's real straightforward. If you don't do it right, you're not happy here." Babcock

I'm reading this forum, and it's so redundant. Old guys on our team, yadda yadda yadda. Hasek isn't even playing, and Chelios has more energy than 75% of the NHL, so spare me.

Oh, and they even went far enough to consider Pavel Datsyuk a "playoff choke artist"...

Uhh, 2004 called, they want your joke back.

Not to mention Dats broke out of that trend during last years playoffs and doesn't seem to be slowing up this postseason (3G, 2A).
It's amazing how much clarity comes when you care more about the Red Wings than any individual player.

"They are the best team in the world. They are a team that can just take over when they want to," Chicago's Patrick Kane said (of the Detroit Red Wings).

This line is older than the Colorado players. Come back when you have something worth looking at.

I love how awesome they think their pictures are, reality check, your Photoshop skills suck.

Don't worry guys, I have little to do at work and the new photoshop. I will cook some things up.

And Datsyuk a diver? Please....he's too busy working his ass off.

I was expecting more from the Ass Launch faithful. I can't blame them though, even with the Bronco's having a bad season (the single biggest contributor to their fan base) they did miss the playoffs last year. I am Sure most fans tuning into this series will be watching their first bit of hockey since.

It is pretty funny though to see how many of them still think the Avs are an Elite Franchise in the NHL.
God put me on earth to do a certain number of things. Right now I'm so far behind I'll never die.

And how is TheChad? smile.gif

I checked out the Avs thread - thought the Winged Wheel(chair) was funny. Other than that, old and/or lame. Let's see what you guys come up as the series gets going.

gotta say the cheli chair was pretty funny. the rest of them suck though

"During Robert Lang’s time in Detroit, he caused me anguish. Other times he brought me and my family great joy. Robert Lang occasionally coasts, and spends time searching for the best pane of glass to best view the reflection of his flowing mullet. Other times he is a strong-armed force with the puck. I never knew what to expect from Robert Lang. He is The Enigma. " - A2Y
