Colorado (Denver-Metro area) Wings fans

We want to try and find the wings practice facility so we can hit that up and maybe get some autographs. Anyone have any idea where they practice? Possibly Magness arena?

I'd be up for that. If I remember correctly, they practiced at Big Bear on Lowry when they were here for the playoff series.

Sidenote: Was that really well over a month ago??

yes, now over a month ago... can you believe it? the summer is flying by!

I hope they always practice at the same place, we are determined to find them next year!

That's correct. If the Pepsi center is unavailable for practice, they use Big Bear. Just about everyone uses Big Bear but I seem to remember something about the avs at the family center.

yes, the avs always use the family sports center off Arapahoe Road

It's nice to go there because you can watch them practice during regular season and then wait for autographs afterwards

As far as the practice goes, does anyone have any idea what time they are likely to practice at Big Bear? We'd like to come up from the Springs to get some autographs on the morning of 12/27. Then we have tickets for the game that night.

Just thought I'd give you guys a heads up to a Denver Red Wings "meet up" group. Fellow Wings fans that get together for games. I haven't gone yet, but will probably check it out at some time since it's infinitely better to watch hockey with Wings fans instead of Avs fans
