im so excited that i feel that me and my wife will be out of the hospital by next week........yeah...thats real excited but not true.

My wife just found my long-lost Gordie Howe trading card!!! I've been looking for it since we moved, couldn't be a better day to find it (yes, I know, yell at me for "misplacing"it)

I'm getting pumped up. I started the morning out cooking a giant breakfast and doing my stanley cup ritual dance ad-libing songs about winning the cup. Did some yard work, washed the womans car and getting ready to shave the head, hop in the shower and head downtown to enjoy the festivities. Throw down some brews, catch the game at the joe. Then hopefully celebrate a victory at some fine establishment. Go to bed and wake up in the morning cursing the gods and asking them why I drink!

I'm so excited that I have been writing with crayons all week: No pens in this house. Not even pencils. Nor have I been using Marc-ers.

I got rid of my Bing Crosby tapes, got rid of La Rock garden and replaced it with dirt, and transplanted lungs into the fish.

I am so ready. I am so excited. Now if I only had cable........

My money on the board pledge:

$1 for each goal scored by a player after whom I have named a hamster.

An additional $5 for each hat trick scored by a player after whom I have named a hamster.

An additional $10 if any of the above goals is the GWG goal that gives us the series win.

An additional $50 if it is the GWG that wins us the Cup.
