Not a ton of people were there but the atmosphere was incredible! They went through the pregame as if the team was there. During the band that was playing before the game someone was smart enough to bring a bunch of beach balls which were flying all over the place. I was really glad a few friends and I made the 2 1/2 hour trip to go watch the game down there.

Notice NBC didn't show that. They did it for Pittsburgh on Versus, but not for Detroit.

The only camera crew I saw there was Channel 2, for a few minutes before the doors opened.

It was really fun though, the little people that were there were louder then the regular season games I've went to this year. Probably the best $5 I've ever spent.

OMG i LOVE JoeVision! The first time my kids were able to go to the Joe during a hockey game. Since we live near Grand Rapids, they only ever get to experience Griffins games. They were very pleased.

It was SO loud there too! I sat in section 107.

There was a drunk guy in front of us that kept falling on my daughter.

I got hit in the face 3 time by a spiked beach ball.

Someone poured beer on my 8 year old son.

And I heckled a Penguin Fan.

Ahh... it was fun.

JoeVision rocked out! I was in 206 (think) with betweenthepipes it was a blast all around... i liked how they did the preshow and the flames for when the wings scored as well as the... "And the Red Wings WIN another hockey game" at the end :)
