zaxx 0 Report post Posted May 27, 2008 I enjoy watching the post game press conferences and interviews so over my lunch break at work today I took some time to watch them all. Best moment by far was when Holmstrom is asked by a reporter : Reporter: How difficult is it to back check and defend against Crosby's line? Holmstroms' reply: Who??? You can hear the media people laughing. Holmstrom didn't laugh, he honestly did not hear the question but the fact that it was Crosby makes it so awesome! You can watch the media briefings on http://www.TSN.ca/nhl Just click on "Watch more in our video player!" and then scroll down to "Podium: Holmstrom and Osgood"
katiephd 0 Report post Posted May 27, 2008 Yeah, I thought that was great as well. I wish you could've seen Ozzie's face when he said it. Also, I loved his, "Yeah, I'm working my ass off." comment.
GMRwings1983 8,794 Report post Posted May 27, 2008 He should have asked the reporters on whether there's any word as to when Crosby will be ready to finally suit up in this series. That would have been awesome.

LOL, funny how they edited that part out of the Redwings TV version.
omnipotent_hudler 0 Report post Posted May 27, 2008 Reporter said "Sid's" line, holmstrom didn't know the nickname apparently he knows who Crosby is for christs sake

katiephd 0 Report post Posted May 27, 2008 (edited) Reporter said "Sid's" line, holmstrom didn't know the nickname apparently he knows who Crosby is for christs sake I can't speak for everyone, but that's not exactly why I was laughing. Of course Holmstom knows who Sidney Crosby is. It's funny because Crosby has been a bit, shall we say, insignificant this series. I'd say invisible enough that "Sidney who?" seems a bit appropriate, dontcha think? Edited May 27, 2008 by katiephd
