poxer 0 Report post Posted May 30, 2008 Thats good news. Homer takes some of the heat off of Z and D when he plops his rear in front of the net.
Guest NumbaSixty-Six Report post Posted May 30, 2008 If you are going to interrupt a broadcast, why not say "Go Penguins" and do something positive. What an idiot. I am glad to see that he didn't suffer any serious injure but rather just the punishment of staying ontop off the offensive crease old-school style .... Maybe the Pens will wake up in the next couple games and we can watch the real series we hoped for... win or lose

shoe 165 Report post Posted May 30, 2008 I found this funny Helen St James wrote it in the free press Holmstrom hurt his hamstring late in Game 3's 3-2 loss when 6-foot-7, 250-pound Pittsburgh defenseman Hal Gill dumped Holmstrom on his back, and Holmstrom slid into Pittsburgh's goal. Holmstrom winced as he got up, and didn't play another shift. He limped out of the building, but because of the way he plays, that happens pretty much after every game. In fact, his halting gait is so ubiquitous teammates have nicknamed it "Homer's pimp walk."

Echolalia 2,961 Report post Posted May 30, 2008 "COACH MIKE BABCOCK (on Homer): I think he's got great passion and great courage. And I think he's an unbelievable teammate. I like him a lot. I like having him in practice. He's good to yell at practice. The guys like when he messes up the odd drills so everyone can have some fun with that. We missed him out there today." ha

Tomas, you're a warrior. and you have such a cute liddle "dance" you do in front of all the NHL goalies while getting a stick drilled across your back. hope he gets the game winner tomorrow. ps. i looked up Homer on wiki and i had no idea that although he only played 77 games, he had a career high in goals this year, NICE!
