Way to go Red Wings! I couldn't be prouder of you. I'm so glad you got the chance to finish what you started last year.

This is gonna be a great summer!

Wow, what a game. I just got done watching the recording off my DVR. I am disappointed with the coverage on Grand Rapids WoodTV, as they didn't show much on NBC national TV either, but man what a rush.

A few thoughts about the game.

Detroit came out and played a solid game for 3 periods. Its amazing how well you can compete when you come out to dictate the play. The Pens fed off the home crowd and got back into the game. They never quit and that says so much about them as a team. My hat is off to them for a very strong effort.

Its 12:37am so I have to get some sleep soon. I will write a full report in the morning.

Congrats Red Wings! It was incredible to see Drake get the cup from Lindstrom. He worked hard for it and I loved what I saw.

I hate to spend $200 at shop.nhl.com, but I may have to in the morning.

"Very few cities in the NHL have the history or the following of the Detroit Red Wings." - Steve Yzerman

Go Wings!

That 3rd period was one of the most exciting 3rd periods I have ever watched in the NHL.

Unreal! I can't believe it, 4 Stanley Cups in 11 Seasons.

We could have won it the last few seasons, but with Ozzie as #1 Goalie and DMac back, it was the right year to win.

I would love to have a DVD of all this stuff. Once I move and get my new address, I would pay to have it sent there.

Send me a PM. I'm compiling everything I've got (NBC HD feed, NHLN postgame).

Its 6am in the morning here in Camden Town, London, England, and the sun has come up......the tv is finally off and I'm as happy as pig in the proverbial.....

loved thre CBC bit about every player's favourite's growing up...must be pretty cool for Kronwall to be captained by his hero or even better for Lebda to spend most of the year playing on the same line as Cheli, his hero....nice that

Because Pavel is his own hero, and he knew it. Datsyukian dekes are gifts from God!

He did. His favorite player growing up was Igor Larionov. Can't think of a better mentor, can you? I hope somewhere tonight, Iggy is proud of him. I am. God love these guys...they made me want to put my fist through the wall the other night, and tonight all I can think of is how much I want to find Pasha and hug him.

I love this bunch of guys to death. From Camp to the Cup, I followed them all season. And come September, I'll be ready to do it again.

It's gonna be a hell of a summer.
