Can't wait to watch this tonight! I can't imagine Dats or Z not winning the Selke and its unfathomable that Lids won't take home another Norris. It'll be interesting to see how the league views Dats in the Lady Byng category given the chip he's played with this season, and here's hoping the league views the changes Babs has made to the Wings as just as significant (if not moreso) than turning a struggling team around. Cheli with the Masterton, anyone?

In a perfect world we would have Lids win the Norris (it's a lock), Z win the Selke, Dats win the Byng and Babs win the Jack Adams. I mean ya gotta spread the hardware around. Can you imagine the size of the trophy case the Wing's would need to display all these trophies?

Yeah, I probably should've mentioned that this season the Wings (or their palyers) have already won the Presidents' Trophy, the William J. Jennings Trophy, the Clarence Campbell Bowl, the Conn Smythe Trophy and the Stanley Cup.

That's a s***-load of hardware.

Don't forget Cheli for the Masterton...we need to mop the floor with this ceremony :P

I really wish he gets it..but Blake had cancer (and it was nothing that serious really) so I doubt Cheli's gonna win this one :(

Cheli is most certainly the most deserving though.

At least this time, Pasha is going to show up! YAY!!!!

I kinda wish he'd walk off with a daily double - the Selke and the Byng both. Now that would be cherries on the cheesecake! And anyway, Henrik got the Conn Smythe, so the Selke would be a nice consolation prize for his linemate.

The Byng is based on the regular season play, so I'm sure it's Pasha's, but he definitely broke out of that so-called "gentlemanly play" mode.

With the voting before the playoffs, I'm calling it this way. Datsyuk for Byng AND Selke.

I say he deserves the Selke big time. +41 and those fricking takeaways are just icing on the cake of his awesome defensive play this year!!!

P.S. I heard a guy on some NHL talk show blasting Babcock for being nominated since we were so loaded with talent. I guess taking a loser team to the first round is somehow more impressive than molding an entire team around a style and system and blowing away the league in every way then winning the Cup. Yea, we set the bar low in the NHL on this one. I mean in the NFL the best coach happens to be the one who wins it all consistently.
