looking at the ducks salary, they have 52 mill committed to next year and still HAVE NOT signed corey perry. even burke doesnt think that they can get selanne signed.

what do u guys think of him wearing the winged wheel? he is the mentor of filppula and had nothing but great things to say about him, we can sign him to a big 1 year deal since that will pretty much be what he is seeking, and he will take care of our secondary scoring problems.

i hope we make him an offer.

RDS.CA: reports of speculation around the NHL that Montreal Canadiens captain Saku Koivu is once again trying to convince friend and fellow Finn Teemu Selanne to sign with the Canadiens this summer. The report also claims Anaheim Ducks GM Brian Burke believes Selanne could accept the Habs offer.

I wouldn't want him because I would question his motivation. Once he won a cup in Anaheim, he kind of jerked the Ducks around about whether or not he wanted to play this past season. I'm kind of surprised he would want to play for the Habs, but playing with Koivu must mean a lot to him.
