The guy was a 10th overall pick in 1997....what happened to him? I think we signed him in 2007. Is he still in the red wings system? What is he doing because for a 10th round overall pick he hasnt shown ANYTHING!
Can someone tell me why we ever signed this guy?

Ference used to be a good player. He still kind of is. He is a character guy. I liked having him playing for Grand Rapids. I think he is playing in europe now though.
7th overall is just bad though...he was good in juniors though.

Brad signed with us last year.
He had an injury riddled season with the Griffins..
When he played, he really wasn't that great *so ive heard, didn't actually get to see him*
But yah, he is a AHL d-man.. nothing better

Big physical defenceman. Never panned out like the Canucks or the Flames wanted, but he's still good for 100 PIMs and solid defensive play in the minors.
