Finger got 3.5 mil per from the Leafs and Avery is getting 3.75 mil per from the Stars... what the hell is going on in the hockey world?!?! shannyfan1414 0 Report post Posted July 2, 2008 I see this year being a bad one for him. He flurished in the spotlight of LA and NY. Did OK while he was here in Detroit but really made a name for himself in the big media markets. Dallas is a good size market but is it big enough to please Avery? Will there be enough for him to do that is going to keep him out of trouble off the ice? I predict lower numbers on his stat line for the year and some kind of big media issue. We've had players I dont fancy before and will continue to as well. I do believe this means Barnes is getting closer to retiring and I'm hoping the rumors are true that he'd join our bench as an assistant/pk specialist.
