LeftWinger 4,959 Report post Posted July 11, 2008 ...mark this thread up as summer boredom, but looking back prior to winning in 1997, are there ANY former Wings that were traded or let go PRIOR to winning the Cup you wish would have won at least ONE of our Cups... ...I don't mean Wings prioir to 1980 either, they had to have played in the 80's or early 90's... ...mine are: Probie, Dino, Burr and Spuddy... Guest Shoreline Report post Posted July 12, 2008 (edited) Dino, Steve Chiasson, Ray Sheppard, Adam Oates (*points and laughs at Anaheim and Washington failures*). Like a few others, I wasn't too high on Coffey. I also hate coffee. Didn't really like Primeau either. Considering it was both of them for Shanahan (and some other guy), and Shanny certainly paid off, I'd definitely say moving them both was a good idea.
